We remain consistently grateful for the steadfast support shown to us by our local government through grants and funding recently renewed from Henrico County and Chesterfield County.
This generous financial support supplies us with the resources needed to ensure that our grief groups, such as Hands on Healing, Perinatal Loss, Overdose and Substance Use-Related Loss, and Suicide Loss, remain cost-free for participants in Central Virginia.
We are also a frequent partner with Henrico County Public Schools and Chesterfield County Schools to provide grief support groups in-school for elementary, middle, and high school students who have experienced loss. These groups provide professional and accessible support for grieving children regardless of their economic background or insured status.
An overwhelming majority of our group participants and clients call either Henrico or Chesterfield home, so with a combined $60,000 in support, we are able to continue to serve our community when individuals and families need us most.
