April 20-26 is National Volunteer Week, when nonprofits everywhere are taking a moment to thank and acknowledge the meaningful work their volunteers add to their organization every day. We are concluding our week by featuring another of our most delightful and dedicated volunteers, Lynn Fellowes.
Lynn is a long-time Full Circle community member who has supported countless events, projects, and daily tasks in her service as a volunteer. Most recently, Lynn has served as a member of our Event Planning Committee for this year’s Living Your Dash event, which takes place on May 8, 2025.
Originally from Harrisonburg, Virginia, Lynn now lives in Glen Allen with her husband, Dave. They have two adult children, Miranda (26) and David (25). Lynn holds a B.A. in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech, and an M.B.A. from the University of Richmond. Previously, she was employed for twenty years at Dominion Energy where she made lifelong friends and worked with an exceptional team.
After the birth of her second child, Lynn made the decision to leave the workforce and start the next phase of her story, focusing on her family and home. Since then, her life has been filled with family, friends, traveling, exercising, gardening, cooking, watching way too many cooking and home improvement shows, and walking her Border Collie, Tazzie.
She has always believed in the goodness of people, that it does take a village, and that it is everyone’s responsibility to give back and be present in society. One of her best friends made her aware of Full Circle Grief Center and their mission. “Supporting those in our community who have experienced the tragedy and grief of losing a loved one is the most perfect way to give back,” Lynn writes.
We are incredibly grateful for the time, energy, and talent that Lynn brings to the table to any task here at Full Circle, and are proud to feature her involvement for National Volunteer Week.
