We offer programs that focus on specific types of loss for adults in Central Virginia, including perinatal loss, suicide loss, overdose and substance use-related loss, young adult loss, widow, widower, and partner loss, and more. Other special support groups are also available.

An in-person 8-week grief support group for adults in Central Virginia grieving the death of a loved one due to accidental overdose or substance use-related loss. This group will be facilitated by a member of our Full Circle clinical team and will explore various topics that allow for remembrance, activities, group discussions, and more.

An in-person 8-week grief support group for parents in Central Virginia grieving the death of an infant or a late term pregnancy loss due to stillbirth, medical complication or prematurity. This group will be facilitated by a member of our Full Circle clinical team and will explore various topics that allow for remembrance, activities, group discussions, and more.

widow, widower, & Partner Loss Support group
Full Circle offers widow, widower, and partner loss groups for individuals in Virginia who have experienced the loss of a spouse or partner. This group will be facilitated by a member of our Full Circle clinical team and will explore various topics that allow for remembrance, activities, group discussions, and more.

Young Adult Loss Group
Full Circle offers a monthly young adult loss group especially for young adults in Central Virginia who have experienced the loss of a loved one. This group will be facilitated by a member of our Full Circle clinical team and will explore various topics that allow for remembrance, activities, group discussions, and more.

Full Circle services include one-on-one, couple, and family counseling. We believe individual counseling can be a complementary service to our groups, but it may be the preferred choice instead of group work. Learn more about these services and meet our professional counselors.

Full Circle offers Journeying Through Grief as a virtual 8-week educational support group. Led by a member of our Full Circle clinical team, this group will explore various topics during each session, allowing for connections with others, therapeutic activities, and group discussions.

Full Circle has created a Men’s Grief Advisory Board for our Men’s Grief Initiative, a new resource to help better understand ways to effectively support men, no matter where they are on their grief journey.
