Understanding Young Adult Grief
Virtual Zoom Meeting
Wednesday, April 28, 2021
6:00 – 7:00PM
When young people experience the loss of a loved one, the accompanying grief comes at an already overwhelming time. These young people may be dealing with significant relationship development, career changes, college or graduate school decisions, or even living on their own for the first time. While we know that grief is a powerful force in all life stages, it brings unique challenges for young adults.
Join Britt Cowart, LCSW, as she facilitates a panel of individuals who experienced a significant death during their young adult years. During this workshop, we will discuss what grief looks and feels like for young adults, as well as challenges specific to their age. There will be a question/answer session as well. This workshop is appropriate for anyone who is grieving the death of a loved one or professionals who are supporting them.
