We offer an 8-week support group for children and teens in Virginia grieving the death of a loved one by suicide. Share your story of loss, connect with others, explore your feelings, develop coping strategies, and discover new ways to remember your loved one. Facilitated by experienced professionals, weekly sessions include group discussion and support, creative expression and resource sharing. All grief support groups are offered free, at no cost to participants.

This new group is open to grievers ages 5th grade through 2026 high school graduates who have lost a loved one to suicide. Group participants will be separated into age-appropriate groups with customized activities and information. A pizza lunch will be provided for participants during each meeting.

Registration by a parent or guardian for children and teen groups, is required prior to attending. Safety protocols are based on updated CDC and state guidelines.
Special note: Please know that our support groups are routinely offered several times during the year and that registrations are accepted on an ongoing basis.
